| Set in over 120 acres of rolling Norfolk countryside, Glen Lodge, now
home to the Bawburgh Golf Club offers the ideal venue for both social and
golfing events. The always interesting and often demanding golf course was
established in the early seventies, whilst the Scandinavian style Glen Lodge
overlooking the eighteenth green was added in the mid nineties. Along with
the golf driving range and golf academy you need look no further when searching
Norfolk for a suitable venue for all.
Bawburgh Golf Club - Members The membership year runs from the 1st August although
it is possible to join at anytime in the calendar year. There are many
categories of membership that can be further broken down into different
sections: Although these sections have their own working committees, they are all represented on the General Committee, which meets on occasions with members of management to conduct the business of the club. There are numerous golfing events run throughout the year for all the sections and these are co-ordinated by the General Manager who is responsible for the diary that comprises a fair balance between casual play, competitions and visiting societies. A Men's Captain, Ladies Captain and Veterans Captain are elected annually at the AGM which is held in January. Along with a junior organiser and a mixed representative, these make up the backbone of the general committee. |
