2012 COMPETITION RESULTS

Sunday, 1st January saw our first competition of 2012. The Millennium Cup is a very popular annual texas scramble, open to all members, and this year was no exception with 24 teams (over 90 players) taking part. A mild New Year’s Day and a course in excellent condition meant the golf was always going to be competitive and the final results were very close.
In 3rd place, with a nett score of 59.5 were Justin Warr, Paul Savage, Allan Thompson and Chris Ingram. In 2nd place, and just losing out on count-back, were Brenda Mace, Amy Taylor, Chris Mace and Tim Sims. The winners of the first trophy of 2012, with an excellent nett score of 58.6, were Neil Bradford, Callum Bradford, Mike Lloyd and Kevin Harrison - well done!
